Workspaces: add, switch and delete

Each workspace has its own products, stock, team and settings. A second business, or a test setup, gets a workspace of its own, and you can switch between them.
Switch workspaces
- Click the workspace name at the bottom of the sidebar.
- Choose the workspace. The one you're in is marked Current.
That menu is also where you'll find Workspace settings, Billing and New workspace.
Add a workspace
Pick New workspace in the switcher and the setup takes you through the rest. See Set up your workspace.
Clear or delete a workspace
Only the owner can delete a workspace. You'll find Clear data and Delete workspace in Settings, then Workspace; scroll to Danger zone.
- Clear data deletes every product, BOM, formula, material, supplier, stock lot and its history, purchase order, production run, customer and order, along with their files. The workspace stays, and so do its settings, members and plan.
- Delete workspace goes a step further. The workspace and its data are removed and members lose access, though invoices and payment records are kept. You'll type the workspace name to confirm.
Neither can be undone, so export what you want to keep first; see Export your data.
Good to know
- Besides Danger zone, Settings, Workspace is where you set the business details printed on purchase orders, your logo and brand colors, the time zone, working days, the default lot allocation, the low-stock alert frequency, and recipe settings.
- A Workspace icon shows beside the workspace name in the sidebar and the switcher, in place of its initials. PNG, JPG, WEBP or GIF, up to 5 MB, and square images look best. It's a different image from the Company logo, which goes on purchase orders.
- Receipts and billing emails go to whoever you set as Billing contact in Settings, Billing. Owners always get notices about access.
- You can only change the currency before any costs exist.
- Your sign-in and two-factor methods follow you into every workspace.
