One Kerno account covers every workspace you belong to: one email, one password and one set of two-factor methods.

Create your account

  1. On the Kerno log-in page, click Start your free trial.
  2. Enter your First Name, Last Name, Email Address and a Password of at least 10 characters with a letter and a number.
  3. Click Start free trial.
  4. Kerno emails you a 6-digit code. Enter it and click Verify code. The code expires in 10 minutes.
  5. Enter your Business Name, check the Country and Currency, choose Just me or We're a team, and click Start making.

Your 14-day free trial starts once your email is verified. No card is needed. Typed the wrong address? Click Use a different email address on the code page. No email after a minute? Click Resend code.

Forgot your password

  1. On the log-in page, click Forgot your password?.
  2. Enter the email address of your Kerno account and click Send me a code.
  3. Enter the 6-digit code from the email, type a New password and click Change password.

The code expires in 10 minutes. After the change, Kerno takes you back to the log-in page with "Your password was changed." Didn't ask for a reset? Ignore the email and your password stays as it is.

Change your password

Go to Settings, then Profile, and use Change password: your Current password, then your New password and Confirm new password. Changing it signs you out on every other device.

Signing in with two-factor on

With two-factor authentication on, Kerno asks you to confirm it's you after your password. Choose one of your methods, such as Authenticator app or Email code, enter the 6-digit code and click Verify. See Notifications, email and two-factor sign-in to set it up.

Use a recovery code

Once you have two different kinds of method, Kerno gives you ten recovery codes. They're shown only once, so save them with Copy codes or Download.

  1. On the Confirm it's you page, click Use a recovery code.
  2. Type one of your codes and click Verify recovery code.

Each code works once, and Kerno emails you when one is used. After you sign in this way, Security opens so you can remove a method you've lost, add a new one and click Generate new recovery codes if you are running low. New codes replace all of the old ones. If you lose every method and every code, Kerno support can reset two-factor authentication after confirming who you are.

Good to know

  • Your sign-in email can't be changed under Profile.
  • Signed-in devices under Profile lists where you are signed in. Sign out everywhere ends every session, including this one; use it if you think someone else has access to your account.
  • Recent security activity under Security lists codes sent, methods added or removed and recovery codes used.
  • Sign out from the menu under your initials at the top right.
